The Refloresta Movement is a non-profit initiative that relies heavily on contributions from individuals, companies, and partner institutions. The funds raised are directed toward three main areas:

1. Sponsorship for the Journeys

We fund the participation of young people with limited financial means. In each journey, about two-thirds of the participants receive full or partial support, ensuring diversity and opportunity for all.

2. Community Strengthening

We invest in projects that nurture community spirit in the regions where we operate. We have supported initiatives such as the construction of the community hall in Atodi and the creation of the playground in Anã, among many others.

3. Boosting Young Leaders

We support young people from our network – especially Amazonian youth – to take part in transformative events such as TEDx Amazônia and COP30. These experiences expand their horizons, strengthen their leadership, and connect their voices to wider networks and institutions.

The total cost to sponsor a young person to participate in a Refloresta Movement journey is USD 1000 and includes airfare from anywhere in Brazil to Santarém. We accept donations of any amount.
